General Discussion / Uploading to reports
« Last post by 559tile on August 15, 2015, 06:08:06 PM »
Hello all, In trying to upload from the DataMaster to Reports, I'm getting the following error, "This parameters was not found in datafile:location(string:empty)". Can anyone tell me how to get past this so I can get the readings from the reader to a report? Thank you in advance. Steve

Eric:

Instead of exporting the info to a PDF, export to XLS or CSV.  Once this is done, you will have all of the info and can create what ever kind of chart you would like.

Thanks,

Jason

General Discussion / Report Graphs
« Last post by Pacfloor on May 30, 2015, 06:29:16 AM »
I just ran my first moisture test as a trial run in my garage slab. After reading the manuals it was great, so easy. I took readings at 10 minutes, then 24 hours, and have taken a daily reading for past 3 days and will continue for a while to take readings. The reading have fluctuated and I am trying to create a graph to see how it shows up on a PDF report for future clients. The problem is that when I upload the date to F2170.com the graph is only showing the most recent reading not all the previous readings on the graph. All readings do show under the Job Name but just do not show on the graph together.

Can anyone suggest a solution .. thank you   Eric Brungardt

There is nothing to download on this, it is just a new replacement.  Please contact us at 800-634-9961 to see if a free replacement is required.

Thanks,

General Discussion / Re: Wagner Certified stamp on reports

e.stieferman:

Sorry for the delay.  The way to verify sensors you purchase are within their calibration window, look at the NIST traceable certificate of calibration that comes with each pack of sensors.  This should be at the bottom of each package you purchase.  There will be a two year span listed on the bottom.  As far as the "certified" portion on the f2170reports, this is option is temporarily unavailable.  We are working on an issue that was identified recently and hope to have it back online shortly.  Sorry for any inconvenience.

General Discussion / Wagner Certified stamp on reports
« Last post by e.stieferman on June 18, 2013, 06:57:44 AM »
I recently used the new Data Master and really love the ease of use and reports.  I have used it on three different jobs now and all state they are not certified by Wagner Meters.  In reading about this I can only find that this would be the case if the sensors are out of date.  I have ordered packs of 25 from two different suppliers within the past 30 days and both show up this way on the reports.  It is hard to believe they are already out of date.  How can I tell if the sensors are out of date and ensure I receive new sensors in the future?  I've already had three different clients ask about this on the report.  It's hard to convince people it's a legit test with this stamped on the report.  Please advise?  Thanks

General Discussion / F2170Reports worked fine on the first demo.

I received my DataMaster last week and it took only 30 minutes to 1 hour to master how to use it. I ran some demo sensors to see how everything responded and I must say it came off flawlessly just as the directions said it would. I then removed the SD card from the DataMaster and inserted into my laptop SD port. I was able to upload all the information on all the sensor demos perfectly. The first box chart was great; the second graph chart was even better. Printable in PDF format and easy to use; available in other formats as well including Excel. What a time saver this thing is. The only thing the DataMaster does not do is tell you where you drilled the hole; you still must use graph paper for that. But that is a welcome trade-off for the ease, performance, and speed. You can read the sensors and go from hole to hole. No more recording the data on a job site.

My suggestion is to FIRST read the Start-Up Guide, then read the enclosed directions thoroughly. Use a pen cap as your stylus to toggle the icons. Off to the races after that. This is a HUGE...HUGE...HUGE time-saver in doing 2170 testing. Well worth the investment.

Cheers!!!!

J:

I have to follow Tim's sentiment on not responding more promptly to you.  This falls in my lap.  I am happy to hear your feedback on the reporting structure and, more specifically, the attributes of the DataMaster.  We really tried to fill a void in the reporting structure that people seemed to desire.  As far as getting a demo report up for people to look at the structure, the quickest "fix" (and the one I will look into immediately) will be to have a report that isn't interactive, but allows people to view the format.  I will also investigate your other suggestion for an interactive report.  Thanks again for the comments.

Hi J,
I appreciate your comments, but first let me apologize for not receiving a response as of yet.  I have notified appropriate personnel adn you should be receiving some good feedback very soon.

Having additional customize-able attributes for each location makes a lot of sense.  As a quick stop gap approach, might I suggest exporting the data to .xls format, then adding additional columns in the excel file as a means of combing the data into a one file compendium?

As you know, we have just launched, and are continuing to improve on the exported report and data formats, so please be sure to look forward to improvements as we mature this solution.

Best Regards J,
Tim
